AgStrong™ is ready-mixed concrete optimized for agricultural environments. It withstands severe chemical exposure from animal waste, disinfectants, and fertilizers while resisting cracking and abrasion.
AgStrong™ low-permeability mix blocks ingress from corrosive manure acids, ammonia, and cleaning chemicals, maintaining integrity in harsh farm conditions.

Reduced shrinkage minimizes joints and repairs in large slabs.
Withstands daily abrasion from livestock and equipment.
Surfaces resist staining and clean efficiently with standard methods.
Our CBM Concrete Solutions product line covers a wide range of project needs – from self-consolidating and high-workability flatwork mixes to fibre-reinforced, accelerated strength, extended workability, and durability-focused formulations. All mixes are performance-based and CSA-compliant. Our technical team can also develop custom mix designs for projects with specific structural or environmental requirements.
We work directly with engineers and contractors before the first truck arrives – reviewing exposure class, strength development, pumping distances, and workability windows to build a concrete program around your project, not around a standard product. The Gordie Howe International Bridge, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, and 141 Bay are examples of that process at work.
Yes. Every customer has access to the same ready mix concrete solutions and quality-controlled mixes that go into our largest builds. Get in touch with your local CBM representative to discuss your requirements.
CBM is proud to be part of Votorantim Cimentos, one of the largest building materials companies in the world. Our VC Way is the operating philosophy that runs across the entire Votorantim Cimentos family – and it shapes how our teams work every day. For our customers, that means decisions made close to the job, clear communication from order to delivery, and accountability that does not stop once the truck leaves the plant. The work we did at Ripley’s Aquarium, the Gordie Howe International Bridge, and other countless projects reflects exactly that – sustained technical collaboration, dependable execution, and a standard of care that holds across the full life of a project.
AgStrong™ uses a low water/cement ratio (≤0.40) with silica fume or other supplementary cementitious materials to create an ultra-low permeability paste matrix that blocks ingress of lactic acid, uric acid, and ammonium compounds from animal waste. This dense microstructure also resists sulfate attack from fertilizers while maintaining pH stability above 11.0 for rebar protection.
The optimized aggregate gradation and shrinkage-compensating admixtures reduce drying shrinkage by 40-60% compared to standard mixes, supporting joint spacing up to 8-10 m in thick slabs versus 4-6 m conventionally. This minimizes random cracking under thermal and livestock loading while maintaining crack widths below 0.3 mm for hygiene control.
AgStrong™ meets or exceeds ASTM C779/C944 abrasion requirements for severe exposure (Type B, rotating cutter), demonstrating minimal surface wear under simulated tractor and livestock traffic. Field performance shows 3-5x greater wear resistance than conventional farm concrete, supporting long-term flatness in high-traffic corridors and feed aprons.
Grow with confidence! Our team can guide your farm build from concept to completion.
